Registered Nurse Cardiac Catheterization (36hrs/wk Full Time Benefits) Rotating Shift-Detroit Within the Henry Ford Medical Group, all nurses at our 47 (and counting!) locations strive to provide exceptional patient care every day. GENERAL SUMMARY:

Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family. Effectively communicates with the health care team. Demonstrates clinical competence. May require a professional certification which is a regulatory requirement in the State of Michigan or a documented community standard for the position, works independently and in collaboration with principal investigator.

POSITION SUMMARY

Position: 36 hours per week (3 days a week, 12‑hour shifts)

Shift: Rotating, Monday – Friday, no weekends, off‑shifts on‑call. Holidays are assigned as call shifts.

Location: Detroit

Benefits: Full Time Benefit Package

$5,000 Sign on Bonus for eligible hires

Ability to self‑schedule Monday thru Friday. No scheduled weekends or holidays; there is scheduled on‑call each Mon‑Fri night (19:00‑06:30) and weekend call from Friday night to Monday morning. The amount of call assigned depends on staffing needs.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

BSN preferred.

Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.

Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans.

Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.

Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel.

Scrub and monitor cases on top of the expected RN roles of sedating/circulating. RN will be expected to scrub and monitor cases in addition to these roles.

CERTIFICATIONS / LICENSURES REQUIRED Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing.
