Responsibilities

Prepare and sterilize instruments, verifying equipment and ensuring proper instrument counts before, during, and after procedures.

Set up sterile fields, assist surgeons and circulating nurses, and adapt to different specialties—from general and orthopedic to endoscopic or minimally invasive procedures.

Document case specifics, maintain supply levels, and coordinate with anesthesia and post‑op teams to promote seamless patient transitions.

Prevent delays and complications through vigilance and quick thinking.
