Position Overview Pathways to Wellness is seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) to support our clinical team in Nashville, TN. This virtual position supports telehealth sessions to support clients across Tennessee. The ideal candidate is dedicated to improving mental health outcomes, comfortable with virtual service delivery, and skilled in providing trauma-informed, patient-centered psychiatric care.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct psychiatric evaluations, diagnostic assessments, and medication management

Provide in-person clinical services at the Clarksville practice location

Deliver telehealth appointments using secure virtual platforms

Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor progress

Collaborate with therapists, primary care providers, case managers, and support staff

Maintain accurate, timely, and regulatory-compliant documentation

Follow state and federal practice guidelines, including controlled substance regulations

Participate in clinical meetings and case reviews as needed

Minimum Qualifications

Active, unrestricted Tennessee APRN license - required

Board Certified PMHNP-BC (Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner) – required

Active, unrestricted DEA license – required

One (1) year minimum post-certification experience as a PMHNP

Experience conducting psychiatric assessments and medication management

Familiarity with virtual care tools

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in outpatient mental health or integrated care settings

Ability to work independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team

Strong communication, documentation, and clinical decision-making skills

Schedule & Work Environment Flexible scheduling: full-time or part-time positions available. Telehealth services may be delivered from an approved remote location. Competitive compensation based on experience and schedule availability.
