Access Nurse – Oncology Full-Time | Days | Weill Cornell What You’ll Do:
Establish and promote a collaborative environment with physicians, nurses, and support staff—centered on patient and family needs.
Act as a liaison to ensure continuity of care and serve as a clinical resource for financial navigation.
Triage new patients, determine eligibility for multidisciplinary clinics, and identify required pre‑visit tests and labs.
Complete initial nursing assessments, identify treatment plans, and coordinate multidisciplinary team involvement.
Work closely with disease center staff to ensure patients see the right providers and assess clinical trial eligibility.
Collaborate with physicians and providers to implement and manage care plans, including scheduling, testing, and symptom management.
Develop patient education materials and maintain accurate documentation.
Participate in program operations and evaluation, plus special projects as needed.

NYP/Weill Cornell
Schedule:
Full‑time, Days
Position will be hybrid (initially 5 days in‑person for first 3‑6 months for orientation and training). Number of remote days depends on program needs.
Preferred Criteria:
Oncology certification
Required Criteria:
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
Current NYS RN licensure
2–4 years of nursing experience in oncology
