Qualifications
Hourly Pay Rate: $31.59 - $46.58
Education
Requires a graduate of a two (2) year A.M.A. approved Respiratory Therapy Program.
Experience
Requires 2 years of clinical experience as an RRT.
Prefer one (1) year prior VAS experience that demonstrates an understanding of the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Specialized Training
Requires successful completion of ultrasound competency checklist within 30 days of hire.
EKG/Telemetry training course is preferred.
Certification/Licensure
Must be registered (RRT) by National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) and licensed by the Arizona Board of Respiratory Care Examiners.
PICC Insertion Certification required upon hire.
Requires BLS and ACLS through an approved American Heart Association (AHA) training center upon hire.
PALS through an approved American Heart Association RQI program certification within the first 30 days.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Ability to work with culturally diverse people is a must.
Excellent communication, time management and customer service skills.
Requires basic computer word processing skills (e.g. formatting, editing, printing, composing email, internet searches, etc.) to be able to successfully navigate through an electronic medical record using a computer.
Requires the ability to read, write and speak effectively in English.
