Ferman Chevrolet Brandon is seeking a skilled and motivated
Mid-Level Automotive Service Technician
to join our growing service team. The ideal candidate has solid diagnostic abilities, strong mechanical skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality repairs and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
Perform routine maintenance and repairs including brakes, suspension, steering, cooling systems, and engine performance
Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment
Complete work accurately and efficiently according to manufacturer and company standards
Communicate findings and repair recommendations to service advisors
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
Keep up to date with automotive technology and repair techniques
Qualifications
2–5 years of automotive repair experience
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
Experience with general automotive systems (engine, transmission, brakes, electrical)
ASE certifications preferred (or willingness to obtain)
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Own basic hand tools
Must be able to pass pre-employment background screening and drug test.
