Psomas' PNW regional team has offices in

Seattle, Tacoma

and

Wenatchee

and delivers integrated services including Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Environmental, Land Surveying, Mapping, and Landscape Architecture to public sector clients in the transportation and public infrastructure markets. This strong regional presence provides opportunities to leverage our client base and drive new business growth.

About being our Senior Construction Manager As a Senior Construction Manager, you'll provide senior-level project leadership on municipal projects, mentor staff, and strengthen client relationships. A key part of your role will be to actively market and grow our Construction Management group - building on our established client base while also seeking opportunities to expand into new types of construction services work. You'll help drive the group's growth and visibility in the market by identifying and pursuing new business, contributing to proposals, and supporting interviews. Your leadership will be instrumental in broadening our reach, ensuring the continued success and expansion of our CM team.

Responsibility Highlights (but not limited to) for our Senior Construction Manager

Project Leadership & Technical Oversight:

Lead construction management for complex transportation and municipal infrastructure projects; oversee project delivery - promoting quality, safety, thorough documentation, and contract compliance; resolve field issues collaboratively; and serve as a senior technical resource for CM procedures and inspection practices.

Client & Stakeholder Engagement:

Build and maintain strong long‑term client relationships; serve as a trusted advisor to clients, agency partners, and project stakeholders.

Team Leadership & Operations:

Mentor and develop staff; support the Team Leader in operations, staffing, resource allocation, and execution; contribute to a strong team culture.

Business Development, Marketing & Group Growth:

Proactively market our CM services, build on our existing client base, and seek opportunities to expand into new types of construction services work. Identify and pursue new business opportunities, assist with proposals, scope development, fee estimates, and client presentations; collaborate across offices on pursuits and resource sharing. Your efforts will directly contribute to the growth and diversification of the CM group.

Minimum Qualifications to be our Senior Construction Manager

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field, or equivalent jobsite experience

10+ years of relevant construction management experience, including public infrastructure projects; 5+ years of supervisory experience

Familiarity with WSDOT Standard Specifications and WSDOT Construction Manual

Proven success in proposal development and client presentations

Valid WA driver's license

Ability to work on active construction sites, including walking over uneven terrain, being outdoors in inclement weather, wearing proper safety equipment, and practicing industry safety protocols

Preferred Qualifications for our Senior Construction Manager

Active Washington Professional Engineering (PE) license and/or Certified Construction Manager (CCM)

Experience overseeing or mentoring a CM team or project managers
