Job Summary
The Fleet Maintenance Planner manages the scheduled third-party maintenance in accordance with manpower and shop space availability, minimizing maintenance delays, maximizing asset availability and managing parts inventories for Heartland fleet shops. Job Responsibilities
Creates purchase orders for all third-party repairs and parts, including daily monitoring of stock parts which includes replenishment of parts that are at the reorder threshold. Reviews third party work orders while consulting with Supervisor to determine correct coding. Creates work orders as needed and ensures accurate descriptions are entered in work order. Finalizes purchase orders by completing a goods receipt. Assists vendors with billing and payment status. Reviews numerous accounts payable and audit reports to ensure compliance. Collaborates with Fleet personnel to a ensure successful business environment. Job Requirements
High School Diploma or GED required. Minimum of one year of work experience required. Previous experience coordinating operations or fleet preferred. Working knowledge of various computer software programs: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SAP, etc. Excellent communication skills, analytical thought process and problem-solving capabilities.
