Summary:
Carolina Components Group Cleanroom Technician is responsible for assembling, testing, inspecting, and packaging single-use assemblies using various assembly equipment, tools, and test equipment, per approved product design drawings, batch assembly records, and associated procedures within a controlled environment assembly setting. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Able to understand, retain, and effectively apply on-the-job training instructions. Consistently follow processes and procedures to operate compliantly within a controlled environmental manufacturing space. Read and understand assembly drawings and instructions to correctly and efficiently assemble products. Distinguish differences in sub-component parts based on part number and visual inspection. Perform in-process inspections per applicable specifications or work orders, including inspection of input and output materials and packaging integrity. Perform labeling and packaging activities. Adhere consistently to assembly acceptance/rejection criteria. Comply with policies, guidelines, and regulatory requirements of the Carolina Components Quality System. Interact with Quality Assurance personnel to ensure product quality and address any non-conformities. Report problems with quality, processes, equipment, or materials to the Team Lead or Supervisor. Utilize approved tools and fixtures safely and efficiently. Complete line clearance, scrap records, training records, and other documentation as required. Maintain batch records for traceability in accordance with company standards. Maintain a clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions. Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Team Lead. Essential Functions Ability to read and comprehend procedures written in English. Ability to complete paperwork accurately in English. Work safely around chemicals and equipment. Stand or sit for long periods. Perform repetitive work requiring strong dexterity and hand/eye coordination. Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. Desired Education & Experience: High school diploma or equivalent. Previous work experience in a controlled environmental space preferred. Previous assembly experience preferred. Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. Work Environment: Work is performed in a climate-controlled office and heated manufacturing and warehouse facility. The noise level is usually low to moderate.
