Overview The future is what you make it. When you join Honeywell, you become a member of our global team of thinkers, innovators, dreamers and doers who make the things that make the future. That means changing the way we fly, fueling jets in an eco-friendly way, keeping buildings smart and safe and even making it possible to breathe on Mars. Are you ready to help us make the future?

Honeywell has a rich history of pioneering advancements in airborne weather radar and sensing technology, including early introductions of Fully Automatic 3-D Volumetric Buffer Weather Radar, the first commercial weather radar with pulse compression, the first Predictive Windshear Alerting Weather Radar, and the first Turbulence Detection Weather Radar, among other advancements.

Our cutting-edge Airborne Weather Radar Systems utilize Volumetric 3-D Scanning and Pulse Compression technologies to provide vastly improved weather detection and predictive hazard warnings compared to conventional 2D radar. Innovative 3-D Weather Visualization helps pilots visualize storm structure and intensity in three dimensions; Automated Weather Detection capabilities can autonomously identify and analyze weather patterns as part of the radar technologies.

Designed to seamlessly integrate with existing Avionics and Flight Management Systems, these solutions enable streamlined operations and data sharing between aircraft systems, supporting flight safety and pilots’ situational awareness.
