Lead, mentor, and develop a team of manufacturing engineers and technicians. Oversee the design, development, and optimization of manufacturing processes and equipment. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency, quality, and cost reduction. Manage engineering projects from conception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and technical specifications. Collaborate with production, quality, and R&D teams to resolve technical challenges and support new product introductions. Ensure all engineering activities comply with safety regulations, quality standards, and environmental policies. Develop and manage the engineering department's budget and resource allocation. Recommended Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline relevant to manufacturing (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial). 5+ years of progressive engineering experience in a manufacturing environment, including 2+ years in a leadership role. Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop high-performing engineering teams. Deep understanding of manufacturing processes, lean principles, and continuous improvement methodologies. Demonstrated expertise in managing complex engineering projects from conception to successful implementation. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on operational excellence. Bonus Qualifications
Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification Experience with ERP or MES system implementation and optimization Project Management Professional (PMP) certification Familiarity with automation, robotics, or Industry 4.0 technologies Why Pivot Group
