Our client is seeking an experienced
Annuity Specialist
to support a growing financial advisory practice. This role is ideal for someone with deep expertise in fixed and fixed index annuities, strong analytical skills, and a client‑focused approach. You will manage an existing annuity book of business, identify upgrade opportunities, and help clients optimize their retirement and income strategies.
Work Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 8:30AM–4:30PM
Eligibility:
Local candidates only
Responsibilities: Contract Review & Analysis
Calculate and clearly explain surrender charges and implications to clients.
Analyze product features, surrender schedules, riders, and performance history.
Review existing annuity contracts to identify upgrade, exchange, or repositioning opportunities.
Translate complex annuity concepts into clear, client‑friendly explanations.
Prepare and present product comparisons and illustrations to demonstrate value.
Maintain expert knowledge of fixed and fixed index annuities, including growth, income, and legacy strategies.
Support advisors in client meetings by providing product insights and analysis.
Ensure all recommendations align with client goals, suitability standards, and regulatory guidelines.
Recommend annuity upgrades or exchanges using a needs‑based, solution‑oriented approach.
Work directly with insurance carriers to obtain contract values, policy details, and performance data.
Collaborate with Independent Marketing Organizations (IMOs) to source competitive product options.
Maintain accurate and organized client data, documentation, and policy records.
Qualifications/Must Haves:
Active Florida 215 Insurance License.
Series 65 or equivalent (preferred)
Detail‑oriented with strong analytical thinking.
Driven by client success and long‑term outcomes.
Ability to simplify complex financial concepts for clients.
Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
Confident discussing financial products and upgrade strategies with clients.
Self‑motivated, proactive, and comfortable identifying client opportunities.
Proven experience with fixed and fixed index annuities (minimum 9 years)
Experience working with insurance carriers, IMOs, or broker‑dealer platforms (preferred)
Strong understanding of surrender schedules, product structures, and annuity mechanics.
Education:
Open to all education levels; equivalent experience accepted.
Professional, collaborative, and comfortable working in a boutique advisory environment.
