Position Summary This Senior Oracle Database Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing automated solutions for managing and optimizing Oracle databases within an organization. This role requires a strong knowledge of Oracle database administration, architecture, replication, high‑availability concepts, programming, and automation to enhance the efficiency, reliability, and scalability of Oracle database systems.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop and maintain automated solutions for Oracle database technologies

Design, develop and maintain automated solutions for Oracle database deployments, configuration, backup and recovery, monitoring and performance tuning

Collaborate with software development teams to integrate Oracle database automation process into the software development cycle

Implement and maintain Oracle database automation frameworks, tools, and scripts to streamline database operations and enhance efficiency

Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation within the Oracle database environment and propose innovative solutions

Perform troubleshooting and resolving Oracle database‑related issues in collaboration with cross‑functional teams, including system administrators, developers, and network engineers

Ensure high availability and optimal performance of production Oracle databases through effective automation strategies and monitoring techniques

Conduct regular performance analysis and capacity planning to optimize Oracle database resources
