- Practice based at a leading acute-care regional referral hospital
- Adult cardiac and thoracic surgical cases including CABG, valve repair/replacement, and thoracic procedures
- Open and minimally invasive/robotic techniques welcomed
- Participation in call rotation
- Leadership role within the surgical service line
- Perform a full spectrum of cardiothoracic surgical procedures including coronary bypass, valve repair/replacement, and thoracic surgeries
- Collaborate closely with cardiology, ICU, vascular surgery, and other service lines to ensure coordinated patient care
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and program development
- Contribute to service-line growth and strategic planning
- Mentor and collaborate with physicians and allied health professionals
- MD or DO with completed cardiothoracic surgery training (ACGME or equivalent)
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiothoracic Surgery
- Active or eligible Louisiana medical license
- Experience with adult cardiac and thoracic surgical procedures
- Strong leadership, communication, and teamwork skills
