As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and create a secure environment. - Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the manufacturing and industrial location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
- Monitor for any unusual activity or potential hazards and report findings promptly to the appropriate personnel.
- Assist with controlling access to the location, verifying credentials, and directing visitors as needed.
- Document all activities, observations, and incidents according to Allied Universal procedures.
- Collaborate with site staff and law enforcement as required during emergency or security-related situations.
- Three or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or a college degree is required.
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
