The Opportunity This position works out of the Casa Grande, Arizona location in the Abbott Nutrition division. The plant develops science‑based nutrition products for all ages. Millions rely on brands such as Similac®, PediaSure®, Pedialyte®, Ensure®, and Glucerna®.

What You’ll Work On

Implement and maintain the effectiveness of the quality and safety system.

Manufacture liquid adult, pediatric, and medical nutritional products.

Lift and handle raw ingredients during weighing, staging, and manufacturing processes.

Operate scales, portable pumps, container rinsers, homogenizers.

Perform hand cleaning, clean‑in‑place (CIP), cleaning‑out‑of‑place (COP), and routine housekeeping.

Interact with computer systems and document steps per work orders and job procedures.

Prepare, operate, monitor, and document bulk slurries for blending operations, heat treatment processes, and controlled weigh systems.

Operate and monitor computer‑controlled CIP systems for manufacturing equipment (e.g., tanks, heat treatment systems).

Receive and unload bulk raw ingredients and CIP chemicals.

Required Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED.

Ability to continuously lift up to 50 lbs throughout the shift.

Knowledge of food processing techniques and documentation requirements.

Ability to read and follow work orders, troubleshoot equipment breakdowns, and operate powered industrial vehicles.

Good mechanical aptitude and strong problem‑solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in a plant production environment (preferably in drug, food, or beverage manufacturing).

Position Details

Pay Rate: $24 per hour.

Shift: 12‑hour Day Shift (6:00 AM – 6:00 PM).

Schedule: Enjoy every other weekend off with a consistent 4‑week rotation.

Sample Rotation

Week 1: Wed & Thurs (12 hrs)

Week 2: Mon, Tues, Fri, Sat, Sun (12 hrs)

Week 3: Same as Week 1

Week 4: Same as Week 2
