Purpose Typically, this is not an entry level position and is directly responsible for quality audits within the quality department and will have mastered more than one area of inspection in inbound receipts, in-process inspections or outbound inspection. This position will be completely trained and in their primary inspection operation will be able to provide training to adhere to the adidas quality assurance standards set in place. This position has mastered the understanding of the leagues, teams, colors, fabrics, garment specifications, embellishment types, some of the computer systems and most processes throughout the facility.

Key Responsibilities

This position will be expected to have the ability to work independently for short periods of time and effectively perform more than one inspection process and have been trained in a 3rd inspection area.

This person will be very detail oriented and have a full understanding of the physical inspection process and the any procedures necessary to perform any of the tasks assigned.

This person will be expected to have the ability to work on a project and once trained work independently with minimal supervision.

This position must be able to work as a team player and communicate any lack of understanding.

This position must work accurately at all times and will be responsible for accurate and timely documentation as required whether it be system generated or manual.

This position will communicate directly with the Quality Lead and will work projects as assigned by the Quality Specialist, lead, supervisor, or manager.

This position will be trained on any new operations using TWI methodology.

This person must be dependable, have a good sense of urgency and demonstrate good judgment at all times.

This position will perform any and all tasks assigned by superiors.

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

Competent computer skills using the internet, Windows, Microsoft Office (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and navigating adidas systems

Ability to read, write, count and distinguish colors

Ability to move safely around Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs)/forklifts/screen print presses.

Basic math skills

Must possess good attention to detail

Good communication skills

The ability to work around heat – screen print flashes and dryers

Ability to work overtime as needed

High School Diploma or GED equivalent

Required to speak, read, write, and comprehend the English language

Essential Functions

work in a warehouse environment with noise, dust and varying temperatures

regularly required to talk, hear; sit, stand and/or walk; use fingers, hands, arms and feet to feel, handle, grip, grasp, lift, operate, push, pull, bend, and/or twist for up to twelve (12) hours/day

occasionally required to climb, stoop, kneel and/or crouch

occasionally lift and carry items such as boxes weighing up to fifty (50) pounds

work safely on elevated surfaces (2nd level mezzanine)

able to reliably attend work/scheduled hours
