Night Registered Nurse (RN) – Full Time – Tabitha Nursing & Rehabilitation Center
Eventide‑Tabitha is currently hiring for a full‑time Registered Nurse (RN) for a night shift from 6:00 pm to 6:30 am, 12‑hour shift. The position includes an every‑third‑weekend and holiday rotation.
Essential Job Duties
Follows through on physicians’ orders in accordance with Tabitha’s policies and procedures; receives and records physicians’ orders if appropriate.
Prepares, administers, and supervises administration of medications, treatments, and other nursing services as ordered; observes patients for adverse reactions to medications.
Assesses seniors/clients in regard to physical, mental and psychosocial status; reports condition changes promptly to supervisor and provides follow‑up with family and physicians as directed; records vital signs accurately.
Observes patient skin and proactively takes steps to avoid pressure ulcers.
Completes procedures and documents information in the medical record timely and accurately per Tabitha’s policies and procedures.
Provides direction and monitors medication aides who administer medications to seniors/clients; follows comprehensive care plan.
Provides supervision and education to seniors/clients for self‑administration of medications; teaches necessary skills to allow return to home.
Assists in writing and implementing comprehensive nursing plan of care; updates the plan based on changes in patient status.
Ideal Candidate
At least 18 years old.
Successful completion of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse course of study; high school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Six months of experience as an RN or LPN preferred.
RN or LPN license in good standing (Nebraska State Registry or other Nurse Compact state). CPR required. Licenses and credentials kept up‑to‑date at employee expense. Must meet Tabitha’s vaccination requirements.
