Client Care Coordinator (Social Work) Children’s Rescue Fund is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing essential services to families experiencing homelessness. We are seeking a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) to coordinate mental health and related services for residents at the Icahn House location in the Bronx, NY.

Pay & Benefits Base pay range: $54,000 – $60,000 per year. Eligible for a $1,500 sign‑on bonus. Please discuss details with a recruiter.

Minimum Qualifications

Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) in New York at the time of hire or within three (3) months; master’s degree in social work from an accredited school.

At least one year of experience in social services, counseling, crisis intervention, family services, housing services, or homeless services.

Knowledge of and experience working with diverse cultures and ethnicities.

Expertise in strengths‑based, solution‑focused, and family‑centered practice.

Experience facilitating groups for adults.

Proficiency in Spanish and/or French is a plus.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Excellent interpersonal skills and computer literacy in Microsoft Office.

Primary Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments and prepare written reports for families.

Provide outreach, crisis intervention, risk assessment, safety planning, and psycho‑education for homeless families.

Coordinate support services and facilitate linkages to mental health providers, government agencies, and community organizations.

Develop and implement individualized care plans with case management staff.

Deliver short counseling and brief intervention services on site or via telehealth.

Participate in family meetings, housing application support, and transition to permanent housing.

Maintain accurate documentation in CARES and produce required reports.

Engage in professional development and attend mental health trainings.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Principal Relationships

Collaborate with diverse clients to assess and respond to their needs.

Work with staff to promote a cohesive professional relationship and high‑quality service delivery.

Outreach and network with community‑based and government agencies to secure resources.

Other Requirements (Including Physical Demands)

Lifting and moving objects weighing up to 30 pounds several times a week.
