Responsibilities
Installs/changes compressors and cabinets in new and/or remodeled stores.
Checks and adjusts refrigerator temperatures and pressures.
Performs mechanical repairs including washing condensers and cabinets; welding; HVAC; plumbing; refrigerant leaks; any other store mechanical needs.
Drives service van to necessary locations.
All other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications
Must possess and maintain a driver’s license with a good driving record.
Demonstrates use of hand tools, gauges, pressure washer, torch, and meters.
Has 2 to 4 years of commercial refrigeration experience, preferably in the supermarket industry.
Strong interpersonal and analytical skills.
Able to climb ladders 6–24 feet and maintain balance when necessary.
Can lift 60 lbs. occasionally and 10 lbs. consistently.
