Health Educator - Northeast Region
Labcorp is a leading provider of biometric testing services, population health, and comprehensive workforce wellness strategies. These services are performed by a network of Labcorp personnel located throughout the country.
Summary Labcorp is seeking medical professionals to provide testing services at events. Once hired, staff can assign themselves to events in their area using the scheduling system, and receive pre‑event comprehensive training on LES protocols.
Key Responsibilities
Review and explain participants’ screening results (height, weight, BMI, body fat percentage, waist measurement, blood pressure, total cholesterol, HDL, LDL, triglycerides, and glucose).
Provide brief interventions aimed to help participants understand actionable health behaviors.
Provide appropriate health recommendations as needed.
Keep records of interactions with screening participants as directed by the Labcorp Program Manager.
Apply knowledge of HIPAA and OSHA standards.
Minimum Qualifications
Certified Registered Dietitian with experience in health psychology and motivational interviewing.
Pass a Background Check and Drug Test.
Be 18 years of age or older.
Communicate effectively with participants of various cultures and backgrounds.
Adhere to accepted medical guidelines/practices when providing health education.
Friendly, professional demeanor.
Physical Requirements Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.

Pay Range $45,000 – $50,000 per year
