Join our team as a Sr. Full Desk Recruiter – Elevate Your Career in IT Staffing. This will be a full-time onsite role in Tallahassee, Florida. Looking for individuals who reside in the Tallahassee area. Are you a dynamic recruitment professional passionate about connecting top IT talent with government agencies? We’re seeking a Sr. Full Desk Recruiter to spearhead high-volume public sector IT staffing initiatives, making a meaningful impact in Florida’s government technology landscape. This is your opportunity to lead end-to-end recruitment processes, build lasting relationships, and contribute to our firm’s growth through your expertise and drive.
Responsibilities
Source, assess, and close top-tier candidates for a variety of IT positions (e.g., Data Analysts, Java Developers, .Net Engineers, Project Managers, Web Designers, Technical Writers, Business Analysts, Developers, Programmers, and Architects).
Develop innovative sourcing strategies, screen candidates, conduct interviews, negotiate offers, and manage the candidate onboarding process.
Collaborate closely with account managers, clients, and the recruiting team to understand staffing needs, set expectations, and deliver exceptional talent.
Qualifications
At least 3 years of full-desk recruiting experience within Florida state government agencies, particularly in Tallahassee.
Strong sourcing and closing skills with the ability to build and maintain a network of qualified candidates through proactive market research and relationship management.
Experience leveraging applicant tracking systems and TVT-approved AI tools to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills with a proven track record of meeting hiring targets.
Background in government IT staffing preferred; exceptional relationship-building and sourcing capabilities are valuable.
Willingness to attend networking events, hiring fairs, and client meetings outside regular working hours.
Additional Requirements
Strong focus on delivering quality hires aligned with client expectations; support sales and operational efforts; contribute to long-term company growth.
Minimal travel with occasional client meetings or networking events in Florida.
