Branch Manager – (New Build) – Johnston Station, IA
Join JPMorgan Chase as Branch Manager at the Johnston Station Branch. As the first manager of a new build, you will lead all aspects of the branch, grow deposits and investments, handle operations, and coach the team.
Responsibilities
Motivate the branch team by sharing vision and embodying the company’s culture and values of Service, Heart, Curiosity, Courage, and Excellence.
Grow deposits and investments using the Branch Scorecard to identify strategies.
Prioritize client needs to build lasting relationships and trust.
Build and cultivate a high‑performing team through coaching, feedback, and recognition.
Encourage ongoing learning and development within the team.
Forge relationships with local businesses to strengthen the branch presence and engage the community.
Maintain a strong risk and control environment by following policies and procedures.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
Passion for creating exceptional experiences and setting a positive tone.
Outstanding leadership skills with proven coaching experience.
Excellent multitasking ability with strong decision‑making skills.
Experience building a strong risk and control environment.
Strong desire and ability to influence, educate, and connect team, partners, and clients with technology.
2+ years of management, retail banking, or equivalent Chase leadership experience.
High school diploma, GED, or foreign equivalent.
Ability to work branch hours including weekends and evenings.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
College degree or military equivalent.
Training and Travel Requirement
Complete the Branch Manager Training Program before placement.
Be prepared to travel for in‑person training and meetings, possibly out‑of‑state.
Dodd‑Frank and SAFE Act This position is subject to Dodd‑Frank/Truth in Lending Act qualification requirements for loan originators. Employment is contingent on review of criminal history, credit report, NMLS information, and adherence to the SAFE Act. A felony conviction within the last seven years disqualifies the candidate.
