Teller Retail Banker
Woodforest National Bank, a privately owned, employee‑owned bank, is looking for a Teller Retail Banker to enhance customer experience and grow bank relationships in the Brenham, Texas area.
Key Responsibilities
Achieve individual sales by proactively identifying, marketing, and recommending bank products and services that benefit customers.
Process transactions, open accounts, and perform account maintenance.
Handle branch servicing duties such as vault balancing, cash ordering, and maintenance of automated teller machines.
Employ problem‑solving skills to address customer inquiries and/or concerns consistently with the Woodforest Experience training.
Branch Banking
– Full‑time – Texas, Brenham (WM‑0353)
Minimum Qualifications / Experience
3 years of relevant and transferable sales and/or customer service experience; OR an Associate’s degree and 1 year of relevant and transferable sales and/or customer service experience; OR a Bachelor’s degree.
Previous in‑store banking experience is preferred, but not required.
Must be positive and engaging.
Formal Education / Certification
High School Diploma or equivalent (required).
Work Status
Full‑time.
Supervisory Responsibility
No.
Travel Requirements
Little to no overnight travel. Based on occasional business need, may be expected to cover nearby branch locations up to 45 miles from the assigned branch.
Working Conditions
Standing most of the time; may involve walking, moving, bending, stooping or sitting for brief periods, and occasionally lifting and carrying items up to 30 lbs.
