Location and Work Model Hybrid model: primarily New York Metropolitan area, NY, and remote from San Francisco/Bay Area, CA, Seattle, WA, Boston, MA, Chicago, IL, and Washington, D.C. In‑office collaboration is required three days a week (Tue‑Thu) in New‑York; other locations meet quarterly “Work Together Days.”

Contract Details 6‑month contract with an hourly rate of $60‑$80. Pay decisions consider qualifications, experience, and skillset.

Responsibilities

Manage full‑cycle recruiting for multiple, sometimes complex, searches.

Develop innovative sourcing strategies to identify and engage the best talent for Maven.

Collaborate with Engineering Leadership to continuously improve recruiting processes and ensure goals are met.

Manage talent pipelines effectively and proactively use data to provide updates to hiring teams and recruiting leadership.

Own and drive offers with candidates – extending offers, negotiating, and closing candidates.

Qualifications

4+ years of technical recruiting experience in Software Engineering (front‑end, mobile, web experience is a plus).

Experience working in a startup environment.

Strong skills in sourcing and engaging passive senior engineering talent.

Strong ability to provide an exceptional candidate experience.

Experience building relationships with engineering leadership, with ability to influence and drive toward goals.

Ability to navigate ambiguity and work independently.

Strong, clear verbal and written communication.

Resourceful, highly organized self‑starter with a bias toward action and efficiency.
