Morrison Healthcare - Server Assistant
We are hiring immediately for on‑call Server Assistant positions at Mission Hospital, 509 Biltmore Avenue, Asheville, NC 28801. Online applications accepted only.
Schedule: on call; days and hours may vary. Open availability, including weekends and holidays, is preferred.
Pay Range: $17.50 – $19.50 per hour.
Job Summary Assists servers with various dining room activities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Supports servers in preparing the dining room and table sets.
Delivers orders to the table and buses tables.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Ensures proper presentation, portion control and maintenance of serving temperatures; follows HACCP standards.
Personal commitment to your own safety and that of others.
Abides by all Company policies and procedures, including:
Use of medium weight cut gloves when handling knives, peelers, choppers, mandolins, or cleaning slicers.
Use of oven mitts, fryer gloves, or steamer gloves when handling hot pans from ovens, warmers or steamtables.
Use of slip‑resistant shoes and proper lifting techniques.
Qualifications
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
Ability to walk or stand for long periods of time.
Six months to one year of prior food service server experience preferred.
Open to on‑call schedules.
