Base pay range $75,000.00/yr - $95,000.00/yr

Venteon is currently seeking an experienced

Staff Auditor

to fill an opening with a large, reputable, and well-established employer of choice based in Detroit, Michigan.

Requirements of the

Staff Auditor

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance

1+ year of Audit or Public Accounting experience

Strong project management and analytical skills

Proficiency with risk and control concepts

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)

Responsibilities of the

Staff Auditor

Executes quality assurance and horizontal reviews of completed audit projects.

Executes and reports on post audit quality checks.

Provides effective challenge to the audit teams regarding the audit approach, audit documentation, and conclusions drawn.

Identifies the root causes of quality issues and articulates their relevance.

Participates as a team member on various process improvement projects designed to meet departmental needs
