We are seeking a Student Success Coach (SSC) who will empower students to identify and achieve their educational, personal, and professional goals. The SSC proactively works with students and manages the coordination of support through available institutional resources. The SSC also provides support to students when preparing for the start of their academic program through targeted individual and group sessions and interventions.

Key Responsibilities

Provides holistic support to students, including consistent monitoring of academic progress.

Meets regularly with identified students throughout their start, with particular emphasis on first semester success.

Identifies students who may be at risk of failing or withdrawing and provides support and resources as needed.

Develops relationships with students to foster academic success and program completion.

Collects and analyzes student success data for portfolio of programs served.

Makes recommendations on retention initiatives to the Student Success leadership team.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree, minimum.

Passion for education and helping people achieve their goals.

Strong customer service background.

Ability to research and reinforce higher education norms and institutional policies.

Understanding of the different phases of the student lifecycle.

Capacity to monitor academic progress and provide support and guidance accordingly.

Consultative approach to guide, support and encourage students through their online programs.

Experience with Salesforce or a similar CRM.

Capability to establish relationships over phone, text, and email.

Exhibit strong positive attitude and ability to foster teamwork.

This is not a remote job! Must be located in Denver Metro Area.

Salary: $58,000 per year.
