Description
Turn key vendor supports OSP and ISP construction for telecommunications. Large general contractor supports MD, DC, VA, PA, WV and expanding to NJ, Ohio, Florida, Vermont. Majority business relative to cable TV industry supporting Comcast, Cox Communications, Crown Castle. Role supports Comcast BAU projects. Construction Manager overseeing teams up to 15 people.
Responsibilities
Managing projects from start to finish for commercial and residential OSP construction.
Overseeing internal crews and contractors to meet deadlines, perform quality control and provide client updates.
Performing site surveys, walks, creating and validating BOMs, approving line items, and coordinating construction.
Performing QC, tracking reports, and working project through close out to validate as‑builts.
Reporting to a project manager and client itself with weekly meeting updates and tracking/reports within Excel or client specific software.
90% field, 10% office; customer facing.
Qualifications
Intermediate level; experience working across Design, Permitting, and Construction.
Knowledge of coax splicers and inspecting/splicing 565, 625, 715, 860 count and fiber bundles.
Strong internal and external communication abilities; motivation to take initiative and escalating issues to higher managers.
Computer literacy; proficiency in Excel and client specific software.
