Irvine, California, United States of America Job Description: Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Global Supply Chain Planning Analyst Electrophysiology in Irvine, CA. The Global Planning role owns end-to-end planning for select Biosense Webster products and serves as a Global partner to regional planning. Duties include but are not limited to demand planning, supply planning, IBP coordination, and new product launch planning. Other duties may be assigned. Responsibilities
Drive Global Supply Chain planning activities for assigned product portfolio including demand planning, supply network planning, distribution planning, IBP, inventory planning and new product launch planning. Supply Network Planning: strategic, end-to-end and master production scheduling for finished products; manage dual-source supply; conduct scenario planning with complex spreadsheet analysis; manage global inventory allocation. Variant Planning: manage dual-source demand and supply capacity planning; handle SKU variant complexity. Distribution Planning: track inventory against business plan; monitor distribution; inbound support; DRP; drive ongoing network design optimization. Integrated Business Planning (IBP): coordinate with worldwide regions on demand; validate and consolidate regional forecasts; reconcile IBP revenue forecasts with operating/financial plans. Inventory Planning: manage inventory targets; identify slow-moving/obsolete stock; conduct root-cause analyses and implement corrective actions; pursue cost-reduction opportunities while maintaining customer service. New Product Launch Planning: coordinate SKU rationalization and phase-in/phase-out; analyze Production, Sales, Inventory to support NPI decisions. Improve KPIs: OTIF, backorders forecast accuracy (MAPE/BIAS), inventory entitlement, SLOB. Support IBP process and align market/financial requirements with manufacturing capabilities. Develop analytical tools to support issue resolution and decision making; provide execution oversight. Build relationships with stakeholders including Regional PLAN, GSM, Product Management, Finance, Quality and external manufacturers. Support Lean and Six Sigma based improvements across supply chain processes and systems. Lead or support supply chain/planning projects to improve flexibility, reduce costs, or implement SKU variants. Responsible for supply chain reporting including forecast waterfall, inventory, customer service (OTIF), fill rate, forecast consumption, and ad-hoc analyses. Prepare weekly STEM and Executive presentations. Perform other duties as needed. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree (preferred in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, IT, Logistics or Operations). 3-5 years in Supply Chain Operations or related experience; experience in demand, inventory and/or supply planning preferred; APICS certification preferred. Strong analytical/quantitative skills; proficient in advanced Microsoft Excel. Ability to identify problems, perform strategic analysis, and implement solutions with follow-up. Demonstrated leadership and ability to work independently. Project management skills; cross-functional collaboration capabilities. Experience with Tableau, Power BI, Alteryx (preferred). MRP/ERP systems experience required; Blue Yonder, ESP, JDE or SAP experience preferred. Strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills; scenario planning experience preferred.
