Operations Analyst Position Summary:

The Analyst leads the end‑to‑end process of responding to Requests for Information (RFIs), Requests for Proposals (RFPs), and Requests for Quotations (RFQs). This role ensures timely, compliant, and competitive submissions that align with organizational objectives and client requirements. The position requires strong project management skills, cross‑functional collaboration, and a strategic approach to proposal development, including support for non‑standard deals and quotes. It is a combination of Bids, Proposals, and Deal Desk.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the creation, review, and delivery of bids and proposals, ensuring compliance with client specifications and internal standards.

Develop compelling, accurate, and competitive proposals in collaboration with sales, legal, finance, and operations teams.

Manage RFx processes (RFI, RFP, RFQ) from receipt to submission.

Interpret client requirements and ensure proposals meet all technical and commercial criteria.

Act as the primary liaison between internal teams and external clients during the proposal lifecycle.

Facilitate scope meetings and clarify requirements to ensure alignment.

Implement deal governance initiatives to reduce non‑standard commitments and improve proposal quality.

Manage non‑standard quotes and deals to ensure accurate quotes and approval on non‑standard T&Cs.

Maintain templates, tools, and best practices for proposal development.

Track and report key performance metrics such as bid volume, win rate, and turnaround time.

Drive continuous improvement in proposal processes and outcomes.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, or related field.

Minimum 1‑2 years of experience in bids and proposals or procurement‑related roles.

Understanding of RFx lifecycle, quotings, and procurement processes.

Excellent project management and organizational skills.

Proficiency in MS Office and proposal management tools.

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred certifications: APMP; CPSM is a plus.

Preferred Experience

Background in technology.

Experience in stakeholder management and change management.

Familiarity with contract negotiation and compliance requirements.
