Our client is looking for an entrepreneurial
Senior Attorney
to launch their
Orange County, California
office. The ideal candidate is someone who sees the world through our lens – that all things are possible with hard work and ingenuity. While we understand that the right lawyer for the job may not fit within a predefined box, we are generally looking for an attorney with 5+ years of experience who is willing to work across industries and in jurisdictions across the country. Experience with first and third-party insurance litigation and other financial services litigation is a plus. The ideal candidate will have mock trial or moot court experience.
Qualifications
Juris Doctor degree and California admission.
Minimum 5 years of experience.
Familiarity with both first-party and third-party insurance claims.
Experience with first-party property insurance claims.
Superior analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
Comfortable working both independently and with others in a high-speed environment.
Responsibilities
Draft and file legal documents including pleadings, motions, briefs, and memoranda.
Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, mediations, and arbitrations.
Provide exceptional legal counsel to clients on a wide range of complex legal matters.
Handle discovery, including drafting and responding to discovery requests.
Collaborate with colleagues across departments and offices to support a team-oriented environment.
Communicate regularly with clients to provide strategic advice.
