Holman’s upfitting division offers a great opportunity for an Installation Mechanic‑B to join our team in Maple Shade, NJ.
Shift & Pay
Shift: Monday to Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Pay: $25 per hour.
Important skills: assembly, electrical wiring, welding, and hydraulics.
Must provide basic hand and power tools.
Must have a valid driver’s license.
Responsibilities
Install new aftermarket equipment on new vehicles.
Build vehicles according to work instructions and prints.
Safely mount and connect mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical equipment.
Test installed parts prior to final inspection.
Verify all line items have been completed on the work order.
Inform and communicate suggestions and errors to relevant departments to continuously improve the installation process.
Qualifications
3‑5 years of electrical, mechanical, and equipment assembly experience.
Ability to use a variety of hand and power tools.
Ability to read electrical schematics.
Understanding of 12‑V circuits.
Ability to troubleshoot problems.
Previous experience with hydraulics and welding.
Must be able to provide basic hand and power tools.
Must be able to work in multiple environments—shop, outside in all types of weather conditions, and in an office.
Must have a valid driver’s license.
