Your Role Is your day successful if you can keep the machines running and if customers are satisfied with your work? As a service technician, you will work autonomously across a diversity of companies, travelling to different customers in your dedicated region, starting your day from home and driving to the customer with a company vehicle equipped with safe tools. You will troubleshoot, diagnose and repair various compressor technologies—from mechanical and electronic to Internet‑of‑Things and complex control mechanisms—while learning new skills and deepening your expertise with the help of our dedicated training academies.
You will maintain positive customer rapport through effective communication, interpersonal skills, and professionalism while adhering to safety procedures and using personal protective equipment. You will document all work performed daily using company‑provided hardware and software, perform preventive maintenance, and comply with Atlas Copco standards. Other duties may be assigned as needed.
To Succeed, You Will Need
1–2 years of technical experience maintaining and repairing various types of mechanical and electrical equipment, including electrical, hydraulics, and/or pneumatics. Experience in HVAC is a plus.
High School diploma or equivalent required, with technical training in electrical, hydraulics, and/or pneumatics preferred. Knowledge of HVAC preferred.
Able to work independently with strong self‑management and professionalism, meeting assigned deadlines.
Computer proficiency for communication, work orders, and programming controllers.
Excellent customer service and communication skills (oral and written), fluency in English, and a valid driver’s license.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly and work in industrial environments with extremes in temperature and continuous walking, reaching, bending, and kneeling.
Random drug testing and compliance with safety regulations.
Travel Available for a rotating schedule of on‑call work on evenings, weekends, and holidays. Expect to travel at least 50% of the time.
