Overview The Charge Registered Nurse utilizes theoretical concepts as a basis for decisions in practice and will assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care in accordance with standards of nursing practice.
Responsibilities
Lead nursing care in the Med/Surg unit as Charge Nurse, coordinating patient care and ensuring quality outcomes.
Assess patient conditions, develop and implement care plans, and evaluate patient progress.
Provide supervision and guidance to nursing staff; ensure adherence to policies and standards.
Qualifications
Required Education:
Nursing Degree from an accredited school
Preferred Education:
BSN preferred; ASN acceptable
License:
current RN license in Oklahoma
Certifications:
Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association
