Patient Registrar – Centerpoint Medical Center (Independence, MO)
As a Registrar, you will be responsible for timely and accurate patient registration. You will interview patients for all pertinent account information, verify insurance coverage, and complete charting and billing processes.
Schedule Weekend night position: Friday – Sunday, 6:30 pm to 7:00 am.

Job Responsibilities
Interview patients at workstations or bedside to obtain account information.
Provide exemplary customer service.
Ensure charts are completed accurately.
Verify insurance coverage and obtain pre‑certification/authorization.
Calculate and collect patient liability amounts.
Secure necessary signatures for treatment and release of medical information.
Process patient charts per established productivity standards.
Assign insurance plans accurately and enter all information into the registration system.
Explain policies regarding services, pricing, insurance billing, and payment to patients.
Qualifications
Preferred: 1 year of related experience.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
