Job Summary The Pediatric Gastroenterology Division seeks a Registered Dietitian to provide patient care for GI disease management. Responsibilities include patient education and assisting providers in developing nutrition management plans, clinical evaluation, or interventions. The person must work with a multidisciplinary team and have strong interpersonal communication skills. Tasks include completing Pediatric Nutrition assessment, behavior modification, tube feeding assessment, monitoring, and working with patients who are malnourished or have IBD, IBS, and general gastroenterology and hepatitis disorders.
Successful candidates will be good educators, working with families on diets such as weight loss, hepatic preservation, limited carbohydrate, allergy, EoE, IBD, etc. They should be ambitious, goal-oriented, innovative, and studious, eager to support a dynamic GI/NAFLD/BMI program.
