Oncology Research RN Sr. – Lewisville & Flower Mound Full‑time Monday‑Friday, 8:30 am‑5:00 pm with no weekends, calls, or major holidays. The role can be a Level 1, 2, or Senior level based on candidate experience.

Overview Texas Oncology is looking for a Full‑time Clinical Research Nurse (RN) to join our team! This position will support the Lewisville Castle Hills and Flower Mound locations. What does the Clinical Research Nurse (RN) do? The role offers a unique and exciting opportunity to work as a nurse in oncology clinical research. You will provide care for patients receiving cutting‑edge treatments within the oncology clinic, manage patient relationships throughout their journey, and contribute to clinical trials that change patient lives. Responsibilities

Work closely with physicians to identify and screen potential patients for clinical trial participation.

Present trial concepts and details to oncology patients while conducting the informed consent process.

Assess patients for adverse events and/or changes in condition.

Provide staff and patient education regarding the management and administration of investigational product.

Ensure accurate and timely documentation and data entry to meet trial requirements.

Serve as a liaison between clinic departments to ensure proper trial conduct.

Qualifications Level 1:

Graduate from an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred).

Current RN license in the state of practice.

Current BLCS or ACLS certification required.

Minimum one year of RN experience required.

OCN certification strongly preferred.

CCRC or CCRP certification preferred.

Oncology or research experience preferred.

Level 2:

Minimum three years of nursing experience, preferably in oncology.

Level Senior:

Minimum seven years of nursing experience, preferably in oncology.

Working Conditions The work environment includes exposure to communicable diseases, toxic substances, ionizing radiation, medical preparations, and other conditions common to an oncology/hematology clinic. Reasonable accommodations are available for individuals with disabilities.

Physical Requirements Requires full range of body motion, including handling and lifting patients, manual and finger dexterity, eye‑hand coordination, standing and walking for extended periods, and occasional lifting of up to 40 lbs. Corrected vision and hearing within normal range are required.
