Overview
Registered Nurse (RN) position with Monarch Healthcare Management. Responsibilities
Conducts comprehensive health assessments and care planning by gathering data from various sources, creating individualized plans of care, and ensuring team collaboration in planning and execution.
Implements and monitors nursing care by overseeing the delivery of nursing interventions, evaluating outcomes, and updating care plans to improve resident well-being.
Ensures compliance with standards and resident rights by delivering care aligned with Minnesota Board of Nursing standards, HIPAA, and the Residents’ Bill of Rights.
Provides direct and specialized nursing care, performing RN-specific tasks such as IV administration, PICC line care, and resident education while observing scope-of-practice limitations.
Maintains safety, documentation, and infection control by ensuring a safe environment, following safety protocols, accurately documenting care and medications, and upholding HIPAA and infection control standards.
Supervises and manages nursing staff by leading, delegating, supporting, ensuring proper staffing levels, providing shift reports, managing incidents, and participating in emergency/disaster procedures.
Qualifications
Completion of a professional nursing education program approved by the Minnesota Board of Nursing.
Current Minnesota Registered Nurse license.
Current CPR and emergency care certification.
Experience in skilled nursing and/or assisted living facilities.
