RN Ambulatory - Headache Infusion

Cleveland Clinic , a leading neurological institute in the world, is hiring a nurse to provide high‑quality infusion care in a specialized setting.
In this role you will monitor patients throughout infusion therapies, recognize and respond to side effects, and ensure patient comfort and safety while delivering cutting‑edge treatments using state‑of‑the‑art equipment.
Job Responsibilities
Assist with IV placement and headache therapy.
Provide professional nursing care in an ambulatory setting.
Assess health status, complete nursing assessments, perform telephone triage, and establish care plans.
Administer medication and treatments.
Initiate CPR and other emergency measures.
Notify the physician and/or Licensed Independent Provider (LIP) of abnormal findings.
Assist with specialized diagnostic procedures, therapeutic procedures, and specialized patient‑care equipment.
Develop, evaluate, adapt and document health education and provide it to patients and families.
Cover other nursing roles within the department.
Travel within the region to support physician clinics and surgical procedures, as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing (ADN or BSN program).
Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
One year of recent experience as an RN or LPN, medical assistant, or other clinical caregiver (for current Cleveland Clinic employees relocating within the ambulatory setting).
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (BSN).
Physical Requirements
Requires full range of motion, manual and finger dexterity, and eye‑hand coordination.
Requires corrected hearing and vision to normal range.
May require exposure to communicable diseases or bodily fluids.
Light work – Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, up to 10 pounds frequently, or a negligible amount constantly.
Light work rating applies when walking, standing, or sitting for prolonged periods or when pushing/pulling arm or leg controls at a constant production pace.
Personal Protective Equipment
Follow Standard Precautions using PPE as required for procedures.
Pay Range Minimum hourly: $31.50
Maximum hourly: $49.90
The pay range displayed above reflects the anticipated range for new hires. Actual compensation will be determined after considering factors such as experience, skill set, and education. The range does not include shift differentials, overtime, or Cleveland Clinic’s benefits package.
