We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Level 3 Systems Engineer to join our team at L3Harris. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing highly efficient system solutions, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to ensure successful deployment and integration. Essential Functions
Assist in capturing and managing customer and derived requirements, decomposing and assigning requirements to appropriate functional areas, and ensuring traceability back to verification test matrices. Support lead engineers in developing technical specifications, interface control documents, test plans, and confirming conformance to specifications. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to define system requirements and specifications. Participate in design reviews to ensure compliance with customer requirements. Conduct system integration and performance analysis. Demonstrate interpersonal and teamwork skills. Exhibit excellent communication skills. Be able to obtain a U.S. security clearance. Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience; Graduate degree and minimum 2 years of prior related experience; or in lieu of a degree, minimum 8 years of relevant experience. Preferred Additional Skills
Experience with DoD systems and standards. Proficiency in DOORS Requirements Management Tool. Communications Systems experience. Verification process knowledge. Understanding of system development life cycles. Equal Opportunity Statement
