Studio Manager / Finance Coordinator at ThreeStudio
ThreeStudio Architecture and Engineering is seeking a highly motivated Senior Architectural Designer to join our practice and play a leading role in shaping innovative, design-driven projects across New York City. This position is ideal for a creative professional who combines strong design sensibility with technical expertise and a passion for mentorship.
Responsibilities
Lead design development from concept through construction documentation across mixed-use, commercial, residential, and institutional projects.
Translate conceptual ideas into compelling design solutions through 2D/3D modeling, visualization, and detailing.
Direct preparation of drawings, renderings, and presentation materials.
Mentor junior and intermediate designers, providing guidance on design strategies and technical standards.
Participate in client meetings, presenting design intent and project vision.
Conduct research on materials, technologies, sustainability strategies, and emerging design trends.
Ensure compliance with NYC codes, zoning, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
Professional degree in Architecture.
Minimum 7+ years of professional experience across all project phases.
Strong design portfolio demonstrating conceptual and technical excellence.
Advanced proficiency in Revit, Rhino, SketchUp, AutoCAD, and Adobe Creative Suite.
Experience with visualization tools such as Enscape, V-Ray, or 3ds Max.
Strong communication and leadership abilities.
Ability to manage deadlines and lead project teams effectively.
