Composite Technician
Nammo Defense Systems Inc., a defense contractor manufacturing and supporting shoulder‑fired systems, energetic material solutions, and composite solutions.

Primary Responsibilities
Assist in the development and optimization of the production of composite tubes
Fabricate and cure carbon fiber composite tubes
Build laminated assemblies in a filament winding operation, apply composite, plastic and metal parts and adhesives onto tools or molds
Troubleshoot equipment, monitor process parameters, adjust equipment settings to meet drawings and internal requirements
Read and interpret blueprints and drawings
Set up spray booths to apply etching and primer compound to tubes
Load/unload winding machine mandrels into oven, run cure cycles, de‑mold
Operate compression test machine to verify proof loads
Run daily production quantities
Recognize and report all operational variances as trained
Use a computer and database to download work instructions
Use precision measuring tools, e.g., micrometers, calipers, depth gauges
Required Experience & Skills
High School diploma or GED required
1‑3 years of experience in manufacturing and processing of advanced composite materials preferred
Ability to interact and communicate as part of a highly functioning team
Must be able to read, write and speak English
Ability to obtain BATF approval to work with our products
Proof of U.S. Person status must be shown before employment may begin (U.S. Export Control laws)
