Senior Industrial Maintenance Technician, 3rd Shift (Charlotte, NC)
Full‑time onsite direct hire.
Salary: "$31.50 per hour", paid weekly with possible overtime.
3rd Shift schedule: Tuesday‑Saturday 1:00 AM–9:15 AM EST.
Responsibilities
Troubleshoot, diagnose, install, and repair complex mechanical and electronic industrial equipment, including conveyor systems, sortation machines, and other material handling equipment (MHE).
Ability to perform electrical and mechanical repairs, preventative maintenance, and installations on industrial machinery including belt/pulley systems, hydraulic and pneumatic components, motors, photo‑eyes, relays, drive assemblies, limit switches, proximity sensors, and solenoids.
Respond to equipment breakdown or emergency situations with urgency and expediency.
Utilize inventory, PM schedule, and work order systems, and maintain spare parts/supply inventory.
Evaluate and assess equipment problems by troubleshooting and completing repairs in a timely manner.
Use a multimeter or any other type of electronic testing equipment.
Read and interpret schematics, charts, service manuals, and parts diagrams.
Perform all additional duties as required.

Required Background
Preferred: Associates of Arts degree in Industrial Technology, Electronics, Computer Science or related field; not mandatory.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience troubleshooting and repairing complex industrial mechanical equipment, including mailing equipment/sortation, conveyance, PLC systems, engines, transmissions, clutches, pulleys, or any other industrial electro‑mechanical production equipment.
Familiarity with Windows PC environment as it pertains to the operation of automated equipment.
Excellent problem‑solving skills, including ability to troubleshoot equipment problems, read schematics, establish priorities, and work under deadline pressures.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., walk, stand, stop, and bend 80% of the time with or without accommodations.
