Overview
Adjunct Faculty, Continuing Education — Spanish. College of DuPage seeks adjunct faculty to teach Spanish in continuing education non-credit courses. Courses are in-person, may include evenings/weekends, and may be offered in various delivery modes.
Responsibilities
Plan and instruct courses in classroom, lab, or clinical settings; deliver content face-to-face, online, hybrid, or blended formats.
Evaluate students and submit required paperwork in a timely and accurate manner.
Teach non-credit Spanish courses for personal growth and development; courses typically meet once a week for three hours for 5 weeks; no academic credit awarded.
Instructors should be fluent in English and Spanish.
In-person teaching at the Glen Ellyn campus; ability to teach remotely with technology; access to personal technology is required.
Compensation via stipends; pre-employment background check required.
Qualifications
Minimum two years' experience teaching adults preferred.
Ability to teach in-person at the Glen Ellyn campus; fluent in English and Spanish for non-credit language instruction.
