XSE (Xeon SoC Engineering) is the team that delivers every Xeon based SoC product from Intel Data Center Group. We work with all the IP teams along with externally sourced IPs to architect, design, integrate and validate the final SoC product. A key part of this is the integration of various FW ingredients that must come together and function seamlessly, along with provide solutions to problems that can’t not afford a silicon/hardware solution. We are seeking leaders who can pull it all together for FW to deliver as part of the overall SoC product. WHO YOU ARE

We are looking for an experience Firmware Architect for the FXT role for a Data Center project. This person will be driving the activities of all the Silicon/IP FW execution for this Data Center product in a matrixed working relationship. A good balance of technical depth across a typical Xeon Product along with a keen focus on results orientation and meeting critical customer milestones is key to success. This product and associated roadmap will be fast paced, with high risk, but high reward for Intel. Behavior skills we are looking for: Demonstrates strong problem-solving abilities, applying practical and strategic thinking beyond technical solutions. Comfortable taking calculated risks, with a proven ability to develop and execute effective mitigation plans that lead to successful outcomes. Exhibits exceptional communication skills, delivering clear and concise messages while actively listening and building strong relationships with customers. Qualifications: You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field with 7+ years of relevant experience — or — Master’s degree in the same fields with 5+ years of relevant experience Relevant work experience should be of the following: Experience leading System Software or Firmware in a Data Center product.

Experience influencing executives in technical execution and development.

Experience delivering complex data center products and roadmaps.

Preferred Qualifications: Familiarity with industry standard best practices for program execution and software development.

Experience working on new technologies.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US: $173,660.00-330,340.00 USD The range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Work Model for this Role This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
