Why join us?

General Motors pioneers the innovations that move and connect people to what matters. We see a world with zero crashes, zero emissions, and zero congestion. As we move toward this vision, software plays an integral role as it becomes more prominent in our vehicles.

Our ambition in Software & Services Product Management is to build a world-class software development culture that is part of the company’s shared vision. We are creating an elite portfolio of software-defined vehicles by tightly integrating software, hardware, and services to create complete and compelling vehicle experiences for our customers.

The Role As Senior Product Manager for Connectivity and Device Charging, you will define and execute the Connectivity and Device Charging Experience roadmaps throughout all in-vehicle touchpoints.

Today’s vehicles are increasingly connected to our customers’ lives. They interface with multiple devices (phones, tablets, headphones, gaming controllers, laptops, and more) using technologies like Bluetooth, Bluetooth Low Energy, Ultra-Wideband, Wi-Fi, and NFC. They also connect to devices outside the vehicle (garage doors, toll plazas) and require in-vehicle connectivity solutions (5G cellular and Wi‑Fi). You will lead the craft of seamless, future-forward solutions. The vehicle serves as a hub for device charging (wireless, USB, and 120V power). You will understand power needs and how devices are used while charging.

Responsibilities include anticipating future customer and business needs, building strategies to enhance device management, and collaborating with Connectivity technology Product Managers to shape the future of connected vehicle hardware and software.

Thriving in fast-paced environments, applying principled, customer-centric decision-making, and building consensus across cross-functional teams will be critical to delivering exceptional connectivity experiences. You should be proactive, hands-on, and focused on delivering reliable and innovative solutions for customers.
