The Pittsburgh Paints Company offers a competitive base pay range of $70,000.00/yr - $80,000.00/yr. Actual pay will be based on experience and skill level.

Distribution Supervisor Shift: 10:30am - 7:00pm

Responsibilities

Provide a safe and healthy work environment for all employees through proper maintenance of equipment and facilities.

Eliminate health hazards to prevent work stoppage and time loss due to accidents, while ensuring adherence to all applicable environmental, health and safety regulations, standards and policies.

Supervise the warehouse team and ensure each associate understands and adheres to all company policies and procedures regarding safety, health and the environment.

Effectively manage associates, encouraging continuous improvement of individual performance and meeting or exceeding all service, quality and cost control requirements.

Assist in the facilitation of regular team meetings to enhance communication between shifts and teams.

Ensure that the shift meets or exceeds all training requirements for Federal, State and PPC regulatory law, policies and procedures and the EH&S annual training matrix.

Track weekly and monthly productivity (Picking Rate) by shift associates.

Ensure that daily/weekly time reporting requirements are met and review/approve in the Kronos system.

Coordinate PPCs relationship with third‑party staffing provider, working to ensure seasonal coverage needs are met.

Provide backup to the Distribution/Warehouse Manager in their absence.

Work in a fast‑paced D.C. environment with a high degree of speed and accuracy.

Maintain a flexible work schedule, including overtime, weekends and holidays as required.

Collaborate with all levels of management, internal and external to PPC, customers and vendors.

Support Employee Engagement, 5S processes and continued improvements.

Take on projects and other duties as required.

Requirements

Distribution or manufacturing work experience is a plus.

A bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, logistics, supply chain, engineering, or a related field is preferred.

Must be familiar with operations of power equipment.

Possess strong leadership skills to be a viable candidate for potential advancement to other leadership positions with the ability to relocate to other regions in North America.

Strong judgment, decision‑making, written and verbal communication skills are required.

Strong computer skills: SAP, WHIMS R/F (software environment), Microsoft Excel & Office at a minimum.
