Overview

Adecco is partnering with a manufacturing client to identify a Production Control professional who will own production planning and scheduling activities across a shop-floor environment. This person will coordinate work orders, ensure materials readiness, align labor planning to demand, and help ensure contractual requirements, product specifications, and delivery timelines are consistently met. Responsibilities

Plan, schedule, implement, and monitor production activity to meet contractual requirements, specifications, and deadlines. Review project documentation including contract requirements, drawings, sales orders, and related work instructions to confirm scope and deliverables. Coordinate schedules and daily/weekly priorities with appropriate department stakeholders to ensure timely, efficient execution. Support manufacturing work assignments by helping oversee schedules and production workflow to drive quality and on-time performance. Identify and secure materials, components, and supplies to prevent shortages and production delays. Develop and implement cost-effective manufacturing methods and procedures that comply with applicable standards. Coordinate hardware testing activities in partnership with Quality Assurance to support verification and release. Prepare workforce projections and budget estimates using labor-hour summaries and material cost inputs for each job. Identify packaging and shipping requirements to support customer delivery needs. Perform additional responsibilities as needed to support shop operations and production deliverables. Core Skills and Competencies

Strong verbal and written communication, with the ability to coordinate across manufacturing and support teams. Analytical and problem-solving ability, including identifying constraints and proposing workable solutions. High attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Effective time management with a track record of meeting deadlines in a production environment. Ability to prioritize tasks and coordinate work with cross-functional partners. Ability to read and interpret blueprints/drawings and translate them into clear manufacturing procedures and work plans. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (or comparable tools used for planning, documentation, and reporting). Qualifications

Required High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum 2 years of experience in one or more of the following: production planning, design drafting, manufacturing assembly, or related disciplines. Preferred Associate or Bachelor’s degree in a related field. Work Environment and Physical Requirements

Office and production support environment with prolonged periods of sitting and working on a computer. Ability to lift up to 15 pounds as needed.
