Overview: FOR THIS UNIT, TECHS START DIRECTLY ON THE UNIT ON MONDAYS UNTIL THEY HAVE THEIR DIMENSIONS TRAIINING We are a combo lab (IR/Cardiology/Vascular/EP) with an approximate 80%-10% split with IR being the 80%, 10% being other procedure types.
Job Duties Assist the provider while performing diagnostic/interventional radiology and cardiology procedures. Scrub, circulate IR/Cath Lab procedures and cardiology procedures. May be required to meet departmental needs; this is rotated equitably among all staff members. Expect urgent/emergent cardiology and interventional radiology procedures. Call back time is 30 minutes for STEMIs, IR call back time is determined based on procedure type. Call team consists of three staff members one of which is an RN.
Job Requirements 2 years of minimum experience Skills: Scrub, Circulate, Telemetry MUST HAVE IR Experience Certs: ACLS, BCLS, ARRT or RCIS Skills: Perform EKG lead placement Certs: ARRT Advanced Cert, RCES, RCIS with Med Experience
